WATERLOO (KWWL) -
A handful of people lined up outside the Best Buy store in Waterloo on Thanksgiving day. Most people in line didn't start showing up until after 2 p.m.
Zacary Anstey was the first one in line, and he arrived at 9 a.m. Thursday morning.
"It's definitely cold out here," he said.
Though he was cold, Anstey said he didn't mind because he had his eyes on a door buster at Best Buy.
"I want a 40-inch Toshiba for 179 dollars," he said.
The TV was a hot ticket item for most folks in the front of the line at Best Buy.
Csar Rivas of Omaha took his spot in line at 2 p.m. on Thursday. The number one item on his list was also the 40-inch flat screen TV.
"I ate a great lunch, filled up my stomach with calories so I could stand out here in the cold."
About 20 people were lined up at Best Buy by 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The store is expected to open at midnight.
"I think I'm sane, perfectly sane," said Rivas. "Everybody else is crazy for not coming out."
