Update: Four arrested in kidnapping and burglary in West Union

The West Union Police Department arrested four people in connection with a kidnapping and burglary.

Those arrested are 18 year-old Tyler Williams, 19-year-old Tory Gibson, 19-year-old William Newton and 22-year-old Cody Caldwell.

28-year-old Curtis Williams also faces charges for kidnapping in the first degree and burglary in the first degree, but is still at-large.

Police say the incident happened on November 20 when a 29-year-old male from West Union was allegedly assaulted and abducted from an apartment in the 300 block of East Plum St. in West Union. 

Police say the five men took the victim to the in the country, beat him, and left outside naked.

The van used in this abduction was seized.
