DEVELOPING: Cedar Rapids police investigating bank robbery

CEDAR RAPIDS (KWWL) -

The Cedar Rapids Police Department are looking for a 6-foot tall black male with average build after someone by that description robbed a Wells Fargo on Wednesday afternoon.

Police say the suspect entered the Wells Fargo at 3750 1st Ave. E in Cedar Rapids around 1 p.m. Wednesday and demanded money.

The suspect then fled on foot toward the Planned Parenthood building with an undisclosed amount of money.

Police don't know yet if a weapon was displayed.

The suspect is described as an average-built black male, around 6 feet tall, wearing a yellow zip-up coat, gloves and a stocking cap. See attached photos.

Police are still investigating.
