MARENGO (KWWL) -

A father and son are accused of stealing over $10,000 worth of soybeans from a farm in Iowa County.

Lieutenant Tim Walters from the Iowa County Sheriff's Office says investigators from Iowa County and Poweshiek County arrested 30-year-old Christopher Wayne Brennan of Montezuma and his dad, Ricky Wayne Brennan of Deep River, on Monday

Investigators say the pair entered a crib in Iowa County on five different occasions to steal the soybeans.

Both men face five counts of third degree burglary and one count of second degree theft.

They were both taken to the Iowa County Jail, but were released after each posted their $5000 bail.
