UPDATE: Arrest warrant issued in Dubuque stabbing

DUBUQUE (KWWL) -

An arrest warrant has been issued for a woman charged in the stabbing of another woman in Dubuque on Saturday afternoon.

Police were called to 21st and Jackson Street at 12:48 p.m. Saturday for a report of a stabbing.  They were also called to Finley Hospital where a woman was being treated for stab wounds.

Officers say they believe 27-year-old Kayla R. Stoddard was stabbed by 24-year-old Ashley A. Kaufmann.

As a result, an arrest warrant charging Kaufmann with willful injury was issued.

Anyone with information on Kaufmann's whereabouts is asked to contact the Dubuque Police Department at 563-589-4415.
