Kollmorgen earns MVC newcomer honor

CEDAR FALLS (KWWL) -

UNI quarterback Sawyer Kollmorgen was named the Missouri Valley's Newcomer of the Week for his performance in the Panthers' season finale against Missouri State.

Kollmorgen threw for 265 yards and 2 touchdowns on 20 of 25 passing.  That effort helped UNI to a 38-13 win on Senior Day.  The Panthers finished the season on a 3 game winning streak.

The newcomer honor was the second this season for the Panther freshman.
