CRAWFORD COUNTY, Wis. (KWWL) -
Early Wednesday morning, the Crawford Sheriff deputies arrested a man who allegedly stole beer and liquor from four businesses.
Deputies responded to a suspicious vehicle with cardboard covering the license plate in the Village of Wauzeka.
The deputies found a large amount of liquor and beer in the car so they started searching surrounding businesses.
They tracked down a masked man inside Sportsman's Lounge. The man ran so deputies tased him.
Deputies soon discovered that Carol's Bar and Grill also of Wauzeka, the Horseshoe Tavern of rural Wauzeka, and the Captain's Daughter Bar of Eastman had also been burglarized.
All money and merchandise taken during the burglaries have been recovered.
The suspect 28-year-old Cody Wells faces four counts of Felony Burglary, Resisting Arrest, and Obstructing an Officer.
