DES MOINES (KWWL) -

Iowa's sex offender registry is getting an update thanks to a $110,000 grant.

The Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation tells Radio Iowa that the money will be used by local sheriff's offices to purchase needed equipment that will help officers monitor and register Iowa's sex offenders.
