Royce White demoted to NBA "D" League

Houston we have a problem.....

Just five months after being drafted in the first round by the NBA Houston Rockets-- former Iowa State star Royce White is being demoted to the NBA Development League...

White missed most of training camp following an extended holdout with the Rockets while trying to work out a travel arrangement in connection his anxiety disorder and fear of flying.

There are also reports that White has been absent from practice.

Rockets general manager Daryl Morey released a statement saying..

"Royce is not available right now. We are committed to his long term success and we will continue to support him now and going forward."

White has not played in a game this season.
