CEDAR RAPIDS (KWWL) -

A special Christmas tree was put up for the first time since the 2008 floods.  The National Czech and Slovak Museum in Cedar Rapids assembled a 15 foot tall Christmas tree full of Czech traditions Monday.

Students, Boy Scouts, and many other volunteers helped set up the tree. The decorations have a lot of Czech symbolism.

A majority being for good luck and biblical happenings.
