Warm temperatures set records across state

Saturday's warm weather set records across the state.

The previous high for this day was 69 degrees, said KWWL Meteorologist Jeff Kennedy.

Don Jasper of Waterloo took advantage of the warm weather.

"In November it's kind of rare," he said after taking a motorcycle ride with his wife.

"This is probably going to be our last ride, so we're going to enjoy the rest of the day," Jasper said.

Gates Park Golf Course in Waterloo was busy with more than 120 golfers. Usually, the course expects about 30-40 golfers on a Saturday in November.

"It's amazing," said Head Golf Pro Nate Lubes. "It's probably one of the last days to be this busy."

Shane Henniger of Waterloo did some chores outside, but couldn't complain.

"You couldn't ask for better weather," he said as he washed his car at a busy car wash.

"I hope all winter stays like this," he said.
