WATERLOO (KWWL) -
Waterloo police say they are investigating numerous reports of nails that were found in streets in Waterloo on Tuesday night.
Captain Tim Pillack says officers responded to 19 different locations where nails were reported in streets. Locations included the 18th Street bridge, the 400 block of Vinton Street, Lafayette Street near Colorado Street and Lafayette Street near Osage Avenue.
Pillack says investigators believe the nails were intentionally placed in the streets based on the amount and how they were laid out.
No damage was reported.
