One person injured after crash in Linn County

LINN COUNTY (KWWL) -

A Vinton teen is recovering after a car accident in Linn County.

Authorities responded to an accident on Lewis Access Road at 10:46 p.m. Wednesday night. 

Authorities say 17-year-old Joshua Ridley was driving west when he lost control of the car he was driving and drove into a ditch before crashing into a tree. 

Ridley was taken to the hospital but is expected to fully recover. 

The Linn County Sheriff's Office says the accident remains under investigation.
