Democrat Rep. Dave Loebsack will be representing Iowa's 2nd Congressional District for a new term.
This will be Loebsack's fourth term, but the first in this newly drawn district.
Tuesday night he won with more than 55 percent of the vote, beating out Republican Bettendorf lawyer John Archer.
In his campaign, Loebsack stressed the need to create jobs and build a stronger economy.
