UNI drops Northern State 69-48 in exhibition

CEDAR FALLS (KWWL) -

Seth Tuttle tallied 13 points as UNI passed their final exhibition test with a 69-48 win over division 2 Northern State.

The Panthers, holding just a one point lead midway through the first half, exploded down the stretch outscoring the Wolves 26-5 in the final minutes.  UNI never looked back before rolling to the victory.

Senior Jake Koch tallied 11 points and 6 rebounds, while sophomore Deion Mitchell would pick up 9 points and 9 assists.

UNI opens regular season play against Wartburg on Saturday.
