Cedar Rapids motorcyclist in hospital following crash with car

CEDAR RAPIDS (KWWL) -

A motorcyclist in Cedar Rapids was taken to the hospital today after crashing into a car.

It happened just before three at the intersection of Williams Blvd and 12th Ave SW.

Police say the motorcycle was driving west on 12th and the car was driving east.

They are investigating what caused the crash.

The motorcyclist was taken to St. Luke's Hospital.

The driver of the car was not seriously injured.
