Waterloo police chase leads to arrest

WATERLOO (KWWL) -

A man is in jail after a police chase in Waterloo on Tuesday night.

The driver, who has not been identified by police, refused to pullover for a traffic stop on West Second Street and Allen Road just before 11:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Police say they chased the driver for 15 minutes until he lost control of his SUV and crashed into a ditch on Rainbow Drive.

The driver faces multiple traffic charges.
