Waverly-Shell Rock Volleyball heading back to state

GRUNDY CENTER (KWWL) -

The Waverly-Shell Rock Volleyball team won't be defending its 3A State Championship but the Go-Hawks are headed back to state.

On Tuesday night, Waverly-Shell Rock swept Grinnell 25-10, 25-19, 25-12 to earn a spot in the 4A State Tournament.

The 4th ranked Go-Hawks(48-7) will meet North Scott on Wednesday, November 7th at 7:30 p.m. at the Cedar Rapids Ice Arena.
