CEDAR RAPIDS (KWWL) -
While both presidential candidates canceled campaign events again Tuesday, others were out on their behalf.
Mitt Romney's wife Ann had events in Davenport and Cedar Rapids this afternoon.
She thanked the crowd for donating items for Sandy victims and shared stories about her husband's relationship with a dying teenager, saying Mitt knows how to lend a helping hand.
"He knew that his life was closing out quickly and he asked Mitt if he would please give his eulogy at a funeral," said Ann Romney. "That is the kind of person that is going to sit in the White House and it's a person that cares."
Ann Romney then attended a campaign event in Des Moines.
