North Tama Red Hawks advance

The North Tama Red Hawks advance to the second round of the playoffs. They entered the first night of the Iowa High School State Playoffs as the District Four Champions and it showed early.

North Tama's defense brought down the hammer early and often against their first round opponent of Turkey Valley. After forcing the Turkey Valley Trojans to punt on their first offensive possession, Jacob Wrage would take it around the left side from the 21-yard line of the Trojans to the five.

Two plays later and Dalton Hulme would score around the right side putting the Red Hawks up 6-zip. The Red Hawks would go for 2 after two Turkey Valley penalties and Wrage would take it around the right side once again making it 8 to zero.

Four plays later and the Trojans would fumble handing the ball right back to the Red Hawks...and that fumble would lead to a third down and goal from the two and Hulme would score his second T-D of the night right up the middle. The extra point made it 15-zero Red Hawks.

The Trojans would go four and out giving the ball right back to the Red Hawks and on their third play Dalton Hulme would be on his way zigging and zagging for his 3rd touchdown of the night with an amazing highlight reel dashing 55-yards to the house.

The Red Hawks would run away with this one 43 to 14 as the final.
