Top ranked Regina advances 42-7

Top ranked and unbeaten Iowa City Regina plays host to 5-4 Tipton in a 1A first round game.

In first quarter action, Regina already up 7-0, running back Riley Dixon scored from 13 yards out making the score 14-0.

Ensuing kickoff was an on-side kick recovered by Regina.  On the very first play a reverse, then a lateral back to quarterback Mark Ward who heaved it 46 yards downfield to Mike Donovan for a touchdown 21-0 Regals.

Regina wasn't done, Ward hooks up with Donovan again this one from 16 yards out 28-0 Regals.

The Tigers would finally got on the board when Chandler Harden bulled his way in from the one 28-7.

Riley Dixon would run 59 yards to the one and Mike Donovan would do the rest adding one more score before the half 35-7 Regals and Iowa City Regina would win big 42 to 7.
