UPDATE: Monona gas leaked fixed

The Clayton County Sheriff's Office says a gas leak in Monona has been fixed.

Dispatchers say a construction company hit a gas line while working on a fiber optic line.

A two block radius around the intersection of West Iowa and West Streets was evacuated will crews repaired the line.

Crews are now working on restoring power to the town and most people should be allowed back in their homes by 1:00 p.m.

No injuries have been reported.
