Teenager accused of killing grandparents will go to trial in March


The trial of an Iowa teenager accused of murdering his grandparents will be next spring.

Isaiah Sweet, 17, is charged as an adult for two counts of murder in the first degree. During May, Sweet was arrested after his grandparents, Richard and Janet Sweet were shot and killed.

The trial was set for November 7th, but has been moved to March 6th.

Another man, Brandon Ahlers, is charged with aiding and abetting the murders.

His trial is set for December 12th.
