UPDATE: Arrest made in Frederika bank robbery

FREDERIKA (KWWL) -

A Waterloo man is charged in the Frederika bank robbery, which happened just after Noon on Tuesday at the Farmers Savings Bank.

Authorities say a man entered the bank, displayed a weapon, demanded money and even struck a customer with a gun.

37-year-old Steven VanDeWalker of Waterloo was arrested and charged with first degree robbery.

He's being held in the Bremer County Jail until his initial court appearance.
