WATERLOO (KWWL) -

The American Cancer Society is reminding eastern Iowans ages 30-65 to sign up for a groundbreaking research study.

Kelly Angell talked about the call for participants during a live interview on the KWWL News at 5 Monday.

Currently people in the Cedar Rapids area are being asked to go online and sign up then show up at one of a number of locations for quick and painless testing that will be done as part of the process.

You could be a part of history-making research that will help keep others from struggling from the disease.
