Panthers solid in 27-6 win over South Dakota State

The UNI football team that most of Panther Nation expected this season finally showed up.  UNI controlled the contest from start to finish in a 27-6 win over #20 South Dakota State.

The win was the Panthers first in conference play this season.

David Johnson led the way rushing for 121 yards and a touchdown.  Sawyer Kollmorgen added 189 through the air while throwing a pair of touchdown strikes to Sam Rohr and Brett LeMaster.

With the win, UNI handed South Dakota State their first loss in Missouri Valley Conference play.
