WINNESHIEK COUNTY (KWWL) -
A man arrested after reported gunfire prompted several school lock-downs in Winneshiek County, now faces three counts of attempted murder.
Authorities took Daniel Wildman into custody Tuesday afternoon.
According to a criminal complaint, Wildman traveled from Ossian to Calmar after making threats to shoot out windows of a home and to kill people. Wildman arrived with loaded guns, and fired a 12 gauge shotgun at several people as they were getting out of a car in Calmar.
Wildman is also charged with intimidation with a dangerous weapon and possession of a firearm by a felon.
He made an initial court appearance Friday morning. Bail has not been set.
