Buy an engagement ring, get a free rifle?

Jewelry by Harold in North Liberty is running a unique promotion.

Starting Thursday, any customer who spends $1,999 on an engagement ring will get a coupon for a free hunting rifle.

"We are not your typical jewelry store," said Harold van Beek, Owner.  "We have like a homey atmosphere here and that's how we like it."

The store's owners says he hopes the promotion brings smiles to peoples' faces.

The promotion ends on October 31st.
