Two men are facing a criminal mischief charge after police say they vandalized cars throughout Cedar Falls.

Police have taken reports since 8 p.m. Sunday night of cars with window damage in various parts of town.

Police say they found cars with shot out windows on Clay Street, Walnut Street, Ashland Avenue, West 4th Street and Melrose drive.

Later, Police arrested both 20-year-old Blake Burkle of Waverly and 20-year-old Alexander Pothast of Clarksville.

They both face a second degree criminal mischief charge.

Police are continuing to investigate these incidents.

Pothast is also awaiting trial for vehicular homicide, in a car crash that killed 18-year-old Josh Young in March 2010.
