UNI volleyball sweeps Southern Illinois

CEDAR FALLS (KWWL) -

The UNI volleyball team moved to 8-1 in the Missouri Valley Conference with a 3-0 sweep of Southern Illinois Saturday night in the McLeod Center.  The victory keeps UNI tied on top of the conference standings with Creighton.

Macy Ubben and Amy Braun led the Panthers with 11 kills apiece in the match.  Molly Turk tallied 36 assists, while defensively Candace Burke led the Panthers with 17 digs.

The Panthers move on to Friday as they'll host Indiana State in MVC action.
