Black Hawks stay hot, down Omaha 2-0

The Waterloo Black Hawks picked up their 4th win out of 5 games to start the season beating Omaha 2-0 Saturday night.  The Black Hawks controlled most of the game out shooting the Lancers 41-25.

After a scoreless first period, Waterloo would finally light the lamp midway through the second.  On a power play, Justin Kloos hit Zach Stepan across the ice as Stepan went high to score his second goal of the season.  Waterloo's second score came later in the period on a short-handed breakaway goal from Jake Horton.

The win kept Waterloo tied for first on top of the USHL Western Division standings.
