CARBONDALE, Ill. (KWWL) -

The University of Northern Iowa dropped a close one to Southern Illinois Saturday in Carbondale, IL.  The Salukis kicked a game-winning 24-yard field goal in the final seconds to seal the 34-31 win. Southern Illinois' Bryan Presume returned a UNI fumble 100 yards for a touchdown just before halftime. Next up for the Panthers: South Dakota State at the UNI-Dome Saturday at 4 p.m.
