CEDAR FALLS (KWWL) -
37 teams competed against one another Saturday in the annual Cedar Valley Chase event that benefits the United Way. Participants competed in teams of two to complete 14 challenges at local businesses and organizations around the Cedar Falls Waterloo area. Challenges ranged from origami to life-size board games to eating or drinking unique food.
The first team to complete all 14 challenges and race to the finish line was the winner. A post-party was held at Spicoli's in Waterloo to present awards and congratulate participants.
The proceeds of the event go to the Cedar Valley United Way to help fund projects throughout the year.
