The Iowa Hawkeyes scored a late TD in regulation, then intercepted a pass in the second overtime to beat Michigan State 19-16. The Hawkeyes trailed for much of the game before Mark Weisman's 5 yard TD run with 55 seconds left tied the game and sent it to overtime. After both teams traded field goals in the first overtime, Mike Meyer hit a 42-yard FG to take the lead and the Hawkeye defense stopped the Spartans with an interception to end the game. Iowa is now 4-2 overall and 2-0 in the Big Ten Conference.
