Linn-Mar hands City High its third straight loss 33-20

City High has so many injuries, even head coach Dan Sabers needed some help while taking the field tonight.

In the first quarter on 2nd and 1, City High's Tony Perry is stripped of the ball, and a mad scramble ensues. The Lion's Dakota Digmann scooped it up and sprinted to the endzone for a 37 yard score. 10-0 Lin-Mar.

City High desperate to break a 2 game scoring drought, on 1st and 10, Little Hawk Bryson Runge would beat the defense for a 34 yard score, the extra point was no good. 10-6 Linn-Mar.

On the ensuing kick return, Andrew Grassman beats the coverage and exploded on a 96 yard kick off return, 17-6 Lions.

And 40 seconds before the half, on 1st and goal, Little Hawk Austin Swanson goes up the middle for 6, the 2 point conversion was good. 17-14 at the half. But Linn-Mar outscored the Little Hawks 16-6 in the second half to win 33-20.
