WATERLOO (KWWL) -

Waterloo police are investigating a convenience store robbery.  It happened late Thursday afternoon at the Five Star Snacks and More right off Highway 63 & Fletcher Avenue.

An employee at the store says one man came in with a gun and got away with money.

Officers left the scene shortly before 6:00 p.m.

Later, police found a red truck a few blocks away, and searched through a house.

Police then arrested 39-year-old Kevin Reid of West Union. Reid is charged with first degree robbery. He is in the Black Hawk County Jail with no bond, and pending an initial court appearance.

No one was hurt.
