FAYETTE COUNTY (KWWL) -
Rescue crews spent several hours on the scene of a fire in Fayette County Monday afternoon.
Firefighters were called just after 2:00 p.m. to 14542 160th Street.
Fire chief Jason Rohde says the blaze started in a tractor, then spread to a garage, a machine shed, and also an old hog house or chicken coop.
The garage and machine shed were destroyed, as well as some equipment in the machine shed.
Crews were on the scene past 7:00 p.m.
Rohde says wind was a factor to help the fire spread.
Crews from West Union, Hawkeye, and Maynard were also called to assist.
