Hyde pleads guilty to one charge, not guilty to the other

IOWA CITY (KWWL) -

Iowa football captain Micah Hyde pleaded guilty to an interference with official acts charge on Monday.  Hyde also pleaded not guilty to public intoxication.

The charges stemmed from an incident outside an Iowa City bar on Saturday.  Hyde, and a group of others, was allegedly arguing with bar staff.  When police arrived, they say Hyde ran from the scene.  He was arrested a few blocks later.

A bench trial is scheduled for December 27 on the public intoxication charge.

The Hawkeye senior is still listed number one at safety on the latest depth chart released on Monday afternoon.  That likely means he'll be in uniform and will play in Iowa's game at Michigan State.
