Man charged with attacking 3 Dubuque police officers

DUBUQUE (KWWL) -

A 26-year-old man faces several charges after injuring 3 Dubuque police officers who tried to arrest him.

Police say Ronald Gasaway, Jr. head-butted 2 officers and broke their noses when they responded to a report of a domestic assault at a home Saturday afternoon.

They say Gasaway then ran from those officers right into a lieutenant, knocking him backwards and giving him a concussion.

Other officers then took Gasaway into custody.

He's now in the Dubuque Co. Jail.
