Thursday morning crash injures teen driver

LINN COUNTY (KWWL) -

A rollover crash in Linn County Thursday morning injured a 16-year-old girl from Fairfax.

The crash happened on Linn Benton Road just before 8:30.

The Linn County Sheriff's Office says Emily Howington was headed north and lost control, entering the ditch.

An ambulance took Howington to Mercy Hospital in Cedar Rapids for what appear to be non-life threatening injuries.

The Sheriff's Office says Howington was the only person in the car, and was wearing her seat belt.

Law enforcement officials are asking for the public's help to find a missing 15-year-old girl.
