CEDAR FALLS (KWWL) -
University of Northern Iowa students are gathering Wednesday night to watch President Barack Obama face off against Mitt Romney -- the Republican nominee for President.
Panthers for Obama are meeting at the Cedar Falls Obama Headquarters at 7:45 p.m. to watch the pair debate for the first time. A few dozen students are gathering for the event.
According to the group, the goal is for watch party participants to get a better understanding of where both candidates stand on key issues. Students believe that information will be important as they campaign for Obama in the weeks leading up to Election Day.
UNI College Republicans are watching the debate from the Mitt Romney Victory Office in Cedar Falls, 4807 University Ave, Suite 103.
The Obama for America Cedar Falls Headquarters is located at 4302 University Ave in Cedar Falls. You can get more information by clicking here.
