Musician Bon Jovi will play in Iowa City for Obama campaign event

Musician Jon Bon Jovi will be playing in Iowa City and Des Moines to encourage people to vote early.

Friday's concert is part of an "Early Vote" event, hosted by the group Obama for America.

The event will be at Hubbard Park in Iowa City at 3:30 p.m. and will be at Western Gateway Park in Des Moines at 6:45 p.m.

Tickets are available at Des Moines, Iowa City and Cedar Rapids area offices beginning October 2.
