Man accused of wielding ninja sword while drunk

DYERSVILLE (KWWL) -

A man faces several charges after police say he threatened people with a ninja sword.

It happened in Dyersville Monday morning.

Police say Brian Arens called his stepfather, stating he would kill him with the sword.

Arnes was also allegedly swinging the sword in his yard, yelling at people who were not there.

When police arrived, Arnes was wearing full camouflage and brandishing the sword.

Arens is charged with public intoxication, harassment, and disorderly conduct.
