Excitement overflows on the football field at Union High School in La Porte City Friday nights in the fall.
The hope is to inspire that same kind of excitement Wednesday night, October 3, on the Union High School football field for the 6th annual ‘Fields of Faith.'
Everyone is invited to participate in this annual Christian-based outreach movement Wednesday night. It's one of some 500 similar events held all across the country.
The goal of the one-night outdoor gathering is to help students face their day to day personal challenges through worship and testimonials from students willing to share their personal faith.
The event is free, though participants are asked to bring one can of food or one non-perishable food item for donation to the Northeast Iowa Food Bank.
‘Fields of Faith' gets underway ay 7:00 pm Wednesday night, on the football field at Union High School in La Porte City.
