Cedar Rapids police investigating shots fired

Cedar Rapids police are investigating an early morning report of gunshots fired.

It happened just before 6:00 Monday morning in the 600 block of 16th Avenue Southwest.

Police say they found shell casings in the street and several bullet holes in the side of the house.

No one was hurt.

This was the same street where 19-year-old Latasha Roundtree was shot just  a week ago but police say they are not investigating the shootings as being related.
