UNI falls to #1 ND State 33-21

CEDAR FALLS (KWWL) -

North Dakota State's John Crockett ran for 122 yards and 2 touchdowns as the Bison topped UNI 33-21.  The win was the second straight in the series for NDSU.

UNI got off to a strong start when David Johnson scored on a one yard run putting the Panthers ahead 7-3 after the first quarter.  North Dakota State countered with 17 unanswered points which included 3 and 6 yard scoring runs from Crockett.  The Bison would never relinquish the lead after that stretch.

UNI's Sawyer Kollmorgen threw for 213 yards and 2 touchdowns in the loss.

The Panthers (1-4, 0-2 MVC) enter an off week prior to traveling to Southern Illinois.
