Top ranked Decorah enjoyed homecoming Friday night as the unbeaten Vikings hosted a Vinton-Shellsburg team that entered the night with just one district loss.

Decorah runningback Gavin Nimrod scored Decorah's 2nd touchdown of the game, making it 14-0.

Later Decorah senior quarterback Jacob Kvale hit Holt Johansen with the long pass to make it 21-0 Vikings.

Decorah fullback Josey Jewell scored late in the first half to make it 36-0 entering halftime.

Decorah rolled to its sixth straight win 50-7.
