WDM Valley's Jok commits to Iowa

West Des Moines Valley guard Peter Jok committed to Fran McCaffery and the Iowa basketball team over the weekend.

Jok chose Iowa over Nebraska, Drake, Wisconsin, and Kansas State.

The 6' 6" Sudanese born player had previously generated interest from programs like Kentucky and Michigan State, but many backed off after he tore a tendon in his knee during his junior year.  Jok expects to be 100% for his final high school season.  He'll join the Hawkeyes for the 2013-14 campaign.
