DUBUQUE (KWWL) -

The Honor Flight of Greater Dubuque will host back to back flights to Washington D.C.

Between Monday and Tuesday, a total of 40 World War II veterans and one 137 Korean War veterans will take part in the Honor Flight trip.

This follows Tuesday's trip to Washington out of Waterloo and Cedar rapids.

Both flights will be leaving at 7 a.m. each morning.

The honor flight veterans are scheduled to visit the World War II, Korean War, Vietnam War, and Iwo Jima memorials. They will also visit the Arlington Cemetery to see the changing of the guard.

Everyone is encouraged to attend the welcome home ceremony Monday and Tuesday night.

This year they will be held at the Grand River Center.

They will return home at approximately 10 p.m.
