Upper Iowa takes down Minot State 26-20

Big plays and solid defense made the difference as Upper Iowa defeated Minot State 26-20.  The win moves the Peacocks to 2-2 on the season.

Down 7-0 early on, Cole Jaeschke hooked up with Keaton Hosch on a 48 yard 1st quarter strike tying the game at 7 apiece.  Hosch added even more fireworks with a 93 yard punt return for a touchdown just prior to halftime.

On the defensive side, Upper Iowa forced 4 Minot State interceptions.  Senior DaeJohn Love picked off 2 in the game including the game winner stopping Minot State's final drive.

Upper Iowa moves on to host Winona State next Saturday.
